Pink Pony

News from Pink, a remote location, near the world-famous icebergs of the South Pacific. What is it really like living on the earth's surface in the South Pacific where you are kept warm by a nuclear reactor, and hang in space suspended by the forces of gravity and the speed of light? I wonder?

The glow of the bright red double arches
When I find myself stuffing my gut with Toffee pop chocolate coated biscuits I begin to wonder what comes next.
Next is Cadbury's Continental Chocolates - 500grams of course. But it was the next one that really got me.
MacDonalds Fillet of Fish with fries. And it doesn't stop there kids.
When you suddenly find yourself as a transport unit for the sake of the human race, anything can happen.
Toffee pops, chocolates (the strawberry parfait followed by the fudgey fudge of course) and the big red arches doesn't exactly fit the perfect food regime for one who is carrying the future generation but then I can think of worst things. And remember, the fillet of fish comes with no salad, only mayonaise, and a bun.
It's not until you are eating chinese cabbage doused in soya sauce that things really start going crazy. The after-taste was enough to nearly make me sick, and I could smell it in the kitchen for hours. Yuk. Yuk and more yuk. God it was awful. And I generally can eat most things!
Eating often is another escape from the dreaded morning sickness. Except it's not morning sickness at all, it's more "at anytime of the day sickness which is actually nausea - you think you are going to be sick but you aren't." At least that is my take on the matter. So lots of snacks throughout the day help. My bench is covered with apples, plums, and more plums to fight off the process!
Oh did I leave out the french toast? Yes that is definitely another food phase. All the yummy food I'm not supposed to eat. My brain says just eat it anyway - a strange self-talk which talks to ask and we pretend to ignore it yet we act on it every single moment of our lives.
Duty calls.
